FIFEC offers a limited number of grant scholarships each year to support law enforcement professionals actively engaged in detecting and deterring insurance fraud. These grants align with FIFEC’s mission to deliver high-quality education, development, and connections at the lowest possible cost to law enforcement, fire investigators, government investigators, and prosecutors.

Eligibility & Application
Grant applications for the 2026 FIFEC Conference must be submitted through the online portal by 5/1/2026. Priority consideration is given to applicants who are presenting or speaking at the conference. All special needs or requests must be included in the application or submitted in writing to the Grant Chair.
Grant Recipient Responsibilities
Grant recipients are required to:

Register for and attend a minimum of four training sessions

Assist with conference operations by proctoring one assigned session with the possibility of proctoring four sessions, which may include attendee check-in at assigned session, or reading announcements, monitoring attendance, assisting speakers with time cues, and supporting access control at conference events.
Grant recipients play a vital role in the success of the conference, and FIFEC greatly values their time, participation, and service.
By accepting the terms of this FIFEC Grant/Scholarship, you agree to forever hold harmless and fully indemnify FIFEC from any and all liability whatsoever while attending and/or participating in the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee conference and activities.
