FIFEC Nominations 2007/2008

We are no longer taking nominations for this year's conference.

A Law Enforcement Detective of the Year Award, an Insurance Investigator of the Year Award and an Outstanding Service Award will again be presented during this year's Annual Banquet in Orlando, Florida. The recipients will be awarded plaques to honor their efforts. To be considered for these awards, nominees must be a Florida member, in good standing of IASIU or a law enforcement officer or prosecutor. While it is important to relay information about the background and outstanding personal attributes of the nominees to the committee, the awards will be based solely on the following qualifying areas:

LAW ENFORCEMENT DETECTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD:

Impact that the investigation(s) made to the fight against insurance fraud;

Positive effect(s) the investigation(s) had on the insurance industry and the community;

The uniqueness of the investigation(s);

The exceptional qualities of the investigator Recognition the nominee received from his or her peers.

INSURANCE INVESTIGATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD :

Impact that the investigation(s) made to the fight against insurance fraud;

Positive effect(s) the investigation(s) had on the insurance industry and the community;

The uniqueness of the investigation(s);

The exceptional qualities of the investigator;

Recognition the nominee received from his or her peers.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD :

Impact that the individual has made towards the fight against insurance fraud;

The exceptional qualities of the nominee;

The Outstanding Service Award will have no limits on the time period for consideration.

The awards will be based solely on the content of the letter of nomination; however, supporting documentation including newspaper articles and videos are encouraged. Nominations will be judged by the Awards Committee and the decisions are final.
