2008 FIFEC CONFERENCE

We would like to offer the opportunity for you to attend and participate with us at the 2008 FIFEC Conference in Orlando, Florida. Attendance at last year's conference was over 700 people. Attendees are either insurance professionals (Special Investigative Units, claims adjusters and management) or law enforcement related professionals (Federal, State and Local officials). Your participation in this annual event provides the opportunity for you to interact with the decision-makers in the industry.[1]

Event: FIFEC Conference

When: Wednesday, June 18, 2007 and Thursday, June 19, 2007

Exhibitors: Limited to the first 48 paid responses

Exhibitor Registration: Call for information

Exhibitors will be allowed to begin setting up their exhibits on Tuesday Evening, June 17, 2008 at 5:00 PM. Tear down will begin at the conclusion of the workshops on Thursday, June 19, 2007. This should be around 4:00 PM. The Exhibitor Reception is usually scheduled on Wednesday night from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. There will be the customary Exhibitor Gift give-away ceremony Thursday for those wishing to participate. The Conference workshops will continue on Friday morning, June 20, 2008 with the Conference adjourning at noon. Each exhibitor will be provided with (and limited to a 8' x 10' space). Displays and materials may be sent to GES Exposition Services (see below) prior to this event and stored for delivery to the hotel.

This year the exhibitor area will be in the Grand Sierra D. This Ballroom is located in the convention area (north end) near the attendee breakout rooms. The Ballroom features a different floor plan than what we have seen in the recent past. See the Booth Availability Diagram on the website.

All breaks during the conference (with the exception of Friday's breaks) will be held in the Exhibition area. No social occasions will be allowed without prior FIFEC approval. Every effort will be made to provide exposure to Exhibitors and their product displays.

The electrical, phone and security[2] will be the responsibility of each exhibitor (point of contact is GES Exposition Services ). The individual display areas will have backdrops and side dividers. The backdrop and side curtains will create an area measuring 10' (wide) by 8' (deep). One 6' x 30" table, a table skirt, an individual sign and 2 chairs are included in the registration fee.

Phone lines: This depends on what, specifically, is needed. It is arranged through the hotel. I have the form available through e-mail or fax.

Audio/Visual: Rates available through the hotel.

All payments for Exhibitor Registration (only) must be made via check. Checks for the registration should be made payable to the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee, FIFEC. The telephone service must be paid to the Hotel via a credit card. The electric service and the exhibit booth services must be contracted through GES Exposition Services . All exhibitor registrations are non-refundable.

Exhibitor booth spaces will be assigned on a first paid basis. An exhibitor's information package will be mailed after receipt of the completed application and a check. The packet will be mailed or e-mailed by GES Exposition Services . I will be using e-mail extensively, so please include your point of contact e-mail address on these forms.
